Michael Cohen's Legal Defense Included Non-existent Cases Invented By Google Bard: Report  

Michael Cohen, who used to represent Donald Trump as his personal attorney, said he accidentally forwarded “bogus artificial intelligence-generated legal case citations” to his attorney. So reports the Associated Press.

artificial intelligence 3382507 640 smallThe revelation came in a recently unsealed court filing generated in response to a Manhattan judge’s concerns about several rulings cited on Cohen’s behalf that were found not to exist. Cohen, who has been disbarred, said the citations were found using Google Bard and noted he was not aware the service could create fake cases.
