NY Lawyer Admits to Stealing $2M from Clients, Employer

Albert Hessberg III, a New York estates attorney, copped to ripping off his clients and employer to the tune of $2 million. So reports the Times Union.

The scheme took place over the course of a decade. As a result of pleading guilty to mail fraud, wire fraud and false tax filings, Hessberg is expected to serve close to eight years behind bars. Hessberg was fired last year from Barclay Damon prior to charges being filed against him.
