The lawsuit came in the wake of an interview Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, gave to Oprah Winfrey. Samantha alleged Meghan made “demonstrably false and malicious statements” by telling Winfrey she grew up as an only child. However, a Florida judge rejected that argument, stating the comments are “not capable of being proved false.”
