NRA Case in NY Can Move Forward in State Court: Judge

A judge in New York denied a request by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to throw out a lawsuit aiming to dissolve the advocacy group. So reports the Associated Press.

James filed the action under a nonprofit law after claiming “top executives illegally diverted tens of millions of dollars for trips, no-show contracts and other expenditures,” according to the article. Separately, the NRA has filed for bankruptcy protection in an effort to incorporate in Texas.
