Crosstown Sports Rivals Join Forces to Sue MLB

New York sports fans are suing Major League Baseball, its 30 teams, and Commissioner Rob Manfred seeking to recoup money spent on tickets for games in limbo as well as class-action status certification. So reports The New York Post.

smoking 1553375 640smallMatthew Ajzenman and Susan Terry-Bazer each bought tickets for Mets and Yankees games, respectively, and are looking to get back their money as merchants and teams have refused to issue refunds for the games that are technically “postponed.” The plaintiffs allege violations of “California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law and of civil conspiracy,” according to the article.
