Court Rules in Favor of Colorado Baker in Gay Wedding Cake Case

In a 7-2 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court said Colorado baker Jack Phillips was within his First Amendment rights when he refused to bake a cake for a gay couple getting married. So reports Reuters.

Philips said making the cake would infringe upon his Christian beliefs. Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor dissented.
