U.S. District Judge Raag Singhal in Florida said the plaintiffs “failed to show that reasonable consumers were deceived into paying higher prices because of Burger King’s actual cooking methods” and the restaurant did not promise to cook the burgers on a different surface. Representatives from the company that helped create the burger, Impossible Foods Inc, said its design was intended for meat eaters who would like less animal protein in their diet and is not made for vegetarians or vegans.
