Ford Attorney Asks Settlement Be Reduced from $4B to $35M

Ford could be on the hook for a $4 billion settlement after certain Focus and Fiesta customers reported the “duel-clutch” transmissions in their cars are faulty. So reports Jalopnik.

However, counsel for Ford asked the U.S. Court of Appeals to reduce the settlement from $4 billion to $35 million. The company has previously been cited for faulty transmissions, and a ruling on this case is expected in December.
