Rapper Lil Wayne ‘Happy’ with Cash Money Records Settlement

Ron Sweeney, an attorney representing rapper Lil Wayne, said his client has reached a settlement with Cash Money records and is now “happy” to own his own rights. So reports Billboard.

Details of the settlement will remain a secret, but the rapper now owns “his assets, his music and himself.” One report says Lil Wayne also received $10 million. Wayne sued Cash Money for $51 million in 2015, claiming it violated his contract.
