Rod Blagojevich, Martha Stewart May Catch a Break from Trump

Attorneys for former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich asked President Donald Trump to release the former pol from prison. So reports NBC

Blagojevich, who is serving a 14-year prison sentence for political corruption crimes, is hoping the president commutes his sentence.

Trump said he is also considering a pardon for Martha Stewart, who was convicted of obstructing justice and lying to government officials. The former governor is in his 7th year of his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in suburban Denver.
