White House Faces Lawsuit Over Transgendered Bathrooms

Plaintiffs in 11 states will challenge the White House's directive to allow students to determine which bathrooms they will use. Three individual school districts will join several states in the federal lawsuit. So reports CNN.

The nonbinding directive was distributed jointly by the Department of Education and the Department of Justice and is the impetus for the challenge. President Obama reportedly defended the directive as an anti-bullying measure and as a way to ensure fairness and dignity toward transgendered students.
