Casetext Nabs $12M in Series B to Support AI Digital Assistant  

Lawyers from Palo Alto-based Casetext pulled in an additional $12 million in investments for their company, which created a digital assistant that uses “artificial intelligence and natural language queries” to improve case law search efficiency. So reports the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The company has raised a total of $20.8 million since its 2013 launch. The start-up has more than 10 million cases in its database, and also runs a quasi-social network that allows lawyers to post about their respective areas of expertise and interact with other attorneys.
