Bill Cosby to Be Deposed in Defamation Case Brought by Model

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Bill Cosby and his former attorney to give depositions in model Janice Dickinson's defamation lawsuit against the comedian for denying that he sexually assaulted her. So reports People.

Dickenson alleges Cosby raped her in 1982 and that, through his former attorney, Martin Singer, who called Dickenson’s story a “fabricated lie,” Cosby “publicly branded her a liar." In the depositions, attorneys may only address whether Cosby’s denials of Dickenson’s rape charges were made “maliciously.” Certain questions will also be barred because of attorney-client privilege.
