Ashley Nicole Richards, 24, and the man who prosecutors allege filmed the videos, 54-year-old Brent Justice, are the first two people to be prosecuted under the federal animal crush law passed by Congress and signed by President Barack Obama. Richards has been in state custody for three years based on the same videos.
