Ex-Inmate: Jail Docs Made Me Impotent

A former inmate at Manhattan Disciplinary complex filed a lawsuit claiming jail doctors caused him to become permanently impotent by denying him treatment for his persistent erection. So reports DNAinfo.com.

The former inmate, 51-year-old Rodney Cotton, was detained at the complex in 2011 for violation of parole. His suit claims he was suffering a painful, constant erection caused by the antidepressant Risperdal.

Cotton finally underwent surgery at a hospital after a week of suffering at the complex. The doctors at the complex worked for Corizon, a for-profit company whose contract was not renewed by New York City.
