Defensive in the face of accusations that they’re admitting unqualified students as a result of smaller applicant pools, law school deans are asking questions about how bar exam questions are selected and scored. The deans maintain that, while the bar exam pass rate at their schools is admittedly lower than it has been in prior years, their students’ law school admissions scores are about the same as they have been in the past.
