A federal district judge has extended a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of a Wisconsin law requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals. So reports the Los Angeles Times.
The block will last until a lawsuit brought by Planned Parenthood challenging the law goes to trial. Similar laws were blocked by federal district courts in Alabama and Mississippi earlier this year, but they are still in force in North Carolina and Texas.
