Apple and Epic Games have been disputing Apple’s 30% microtransaction cut, as Epic Games began offering a direct payments option to skirt the fee. Apple responded by banning the game from the Apple Store and Epic sued for “anti-competitive conduct.”
Apple’s recent claims, though, which sought additional punitive damages and argued “intentional interference,” were thrown out as “a matter of law.”
