McDonald’s Asks Illinois Court to Toss Discrimination Lawsuit

McDonald’s is seeking to have a racial discrimination suit dismissed. The suit is filed by 52 Black former franchisees who say they have lost millions due to the fast-food giant’s actions. So reports CNBC.

The former franchisees said McDonald's “denied them the same opportunities as White operators and steered Black franchisees to low-income neighborhoods, where they had higher security and insurance expenses and lower sales.”
