Tesla Case Accusing Ex-employee of Stealing Trade Secrets Moving Ahead

A federal judge has tossed a defamation lawsuit brought by former Tesla employee Martin Tripp while also allowing a lawsuit against him to move forward. So reports Ars Technica.

tesla 1724773 1920To that end, Nevada’s Judge Miranda Du will allow a claim from Tesla that Tripp violated state computer crime law by providing confidential information about the company to a reporter to go ahead.

Tripp came into the national spotlight after reporting Tesla had been wasting raw materials and exaggerating progress toward making 5,000 model 3 cars.
