'Words with Friends' Data Breach Could Lead to Major Class Action Lawsuit

Zynga, the mobile game developer of “Words with Friends,” could be facing a class-action lawsuit after a September data breach impacted 218 million users. So reports Threatpost.

The lawsuit alleged the developer was negligent and failed to safeguard personal information due to “substandard password security.” Information stolen was sold, the complaint alleges, meaning further harm is still possible.
