Ubisoft Sues Dutch Cheat Maker for Spoiling 'Rainbow Six'

An underage Dutch video game cheat-maker who goes by the name J.V.L is being sued by Ubisoft in the Central District of California for his alleged role in making the “Budget Edition Rainbow Six: Siege Cheat.” So reports Ars Technica.

The lawsuit also accuses the player’s mother, Sandra Rijken, of "collecting, processing, and transmitting" payments generated from the software. The lawsuit states that using the Rainbow Six cheat is in violation of the players Terms of Use. The company claims it has spent much money mitigating the cheat, and its existence threatens the game’s viability.
