San Fran, NRA Exchange Shots Over 'Terrorist' Designation

San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera asked a federal judge to throw out a lawsuit filed by the NRA, which accuses the city’s Board of Supervisors of infringing on its First Amendment rights. So reports The San Francisco Chronicle.

The board, prior to the lawsuit, passed a nonbinding resolution labeling the lobbying group as a “domestic terrorist organization,” claiming it has blocked gun reform legislation. The NRA claims the resolution will result in a “blacklisting” and could harm its freedom of repression. Mayor London Breed said the resolution does not limit contracts with those doing business with the NRA.
