Couple Sues Taco Bell Over Ad and $2.18 'Overcharge'

Nelson Estrella-Rojas and Joann Estrella, of New Jersey, are taking Taco Bell to federal court over what they claim was a $2.18 overcharge. So reports WMUR9.

The couple said an advertisement showing their meals’ promotional sale price did mention it could change based on location, but the notice was “only a few seconds of the 30-second commercial, and that the font of the disclaimer was one-sixteenth of the size of the $5 deal advertised.” Their attorney said the advertisement is in violation of New Jersey’s Consumer Fraud Statute.
