13 States Sue Admininstration Over New Green Card Rules

Thirteen states have filed a lawsuit challenging the Administration’s recent decision to “limit access to green cards for immigrants” who enjoy certain benefits. So reports CNN.

Under the news rule, immigrants asking for benefits like Medicaid, housing vouchers and food stamps could be denied permanent status as they could now be judged as being more likely to need future assistance. The National Immigration Law Center may also file a suit against the rule.
