Ex-Congressman Suspended from Law for Lying About ‘Fat, Ugly Lesbians’ Statement

Former U.S. Rep. Carroll Hubbard was suspended from practicing law for lying about calling opposing counsel and her wife “fat, ugly lesbians.” So reports The Courier Journal.

Hubbard was suspended for 60 days for lying under oath in denial of the claim. The former lawmaker will write letters of apology to the women, another lawyer and judge. The onetime Kentucky representative was once disbarred after a 1994 banking scandal led him to plead guilty to obstruction of justice.
