Samuel Chang, who was reportedly choked until unconscious by an off-duty L.A. fireman, will get $7.4 million in a settlement associated with the attack. So reports the
LA Times.
Eric Carpenter was convicted of assault, but did not go to jail and kept his job after pleading down to a misdemeanor. Chang was held down by a group of men during the assault who accused him of handing out drug-laced candy to children with his pants' zipper down.
