Victims of Rabbi Settle in Ritual Bath Spying Suit

The victims of prominent Orthodox rabbi Bernard “Barry” Freundel, who allegedly spied on women during a bath ritual, will each receive part of a $14.25 million settlement, pending a judge's approval. So reports The Baltimore Sun.

Freundel, who is also a former Towson University professor, was separately sentenced to more than six years in prison. He reportedly placed a hidden camera in the room where the ritual baths take place and a woman cleaning the "mikvah" was said to have found the hidden camera in 2014.
