The female lawyers claim the inmates have exposed themselves and engaged in masturbation directed at them. The lawsuit seeks remedial action and damages.
In order to address the matter, deputies were added and special jumpsuits restricting access to the inmates’ genitals were employed, but ultimately unsuccessful. More than 200 detainees face misdemeanor indecent exposure charges this year.
