Ernest Remmhack was portraying Santa Clause during the November shooting and claimed he heard two gunshots and then saw shoppers running. A state police forensics expert said many droplets of blood were found at the scene establishing “there was likely at least one gunshot victim,” although none has yet been identified.
While several witnesses recalled hearing gunshots, no one was able to place the shooter or the gun.
