Non-binding Resolution to Repeal Obamacare Narrowly Passes U.S. Senate

The U.S. Senate passed a nonbinding budget resolution that lays the groundwork for a repeal of Obamacare. So reports The New York Daily News.

The Senate passed the measure with a 51-48 vote, with one Republican voting in the negative. President-elect Donald Trump did not immediately address the vote, but said he has a plan to "repeal and replace" President Obama's signature healthcare initiative, noting his administration will "get healthcare taken care of in this country."
