State police said the son of Elizabeth Hawk, of Farmington, also developed a serious rash and she refused to treat his ailment with cream. Hawk’s estranged husband contacted Fayette County child welfare workers after becoming concerned.
Police said doctors determined the baby is developmentally disabled and can’t crawl as a result of malnourishment.
