Man Uses Scratch-off Millions to Fund Meth Ring, Faces Life in Jail

Ronnie Music Jr. pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Georgia to charges related to drug trafficking and guns after he allegedly used a portion of his $3 million lottery winnings to fund a crystal methamphetamine ring.

He could go to prison for life, if given the maximum sentence. So reports The New York Post.

Music Jr. won the money from a scratch-off ticket early last year. His co-conspirators were caught allegedly trying to sell close to 11 pounds of the drug, which is worth in excess of $500,000, federal prosecutors said. “Federal agents seized more than $1 million worth of meth, an arsenal of firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, multiple cars and more than $600,000 in cash as part of the case,” the story reads.
