SCOTUS Considers Looking at Conn. Weapons Ban

The U.S. Supreme Court is considering a challenge to Connecticut’s ban on semi-automatic weapons, which was implemented after the mass killing at Sandy Hook Elementary School. So reports the WNYC.

The pro-second amendment group Connecticut Citizens Defense League, has challenged Connecticut’s decision to “expand the definition of assault weapons.” The Bill makes the “possession, transportation, sale, or importation of such assault weapons” a felony offense.
