The judge, U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal, ordered Bertling to pay deposition costs and to donate $250 to a women’s bar group. Judge Grewal says Bertling also “flouted” several professional conduct guidelines by delivering documents late and answering for witnesses.
