Ex-Cop Convicted of Sexually Assaulting 13 Women

A jury found former Oklahoma police officer Daniel Holtzclaw guilty of 18 charges in connection with his victimization of more than a dozen women while he was on duty. So reports The New York Daily News.

Holtzclaw, a former lieutenant, was convicted of crimes including first-degree felony rape and forcible oral sodomy. Prosecutors say he targeted women with drug addictions and criminal histories, sexually abusing them after intimidating and interrogating them about things like outstanding warrants. All of his victims were black. Holtzclaw, who is of Asian and Caucasian descent, faces a combined 263 years in prison.
