Chris Rock’s Ex Seeks Support for Child Who Lived With the Family

Chris Rock’s ex-wife is seeking child support for a 7-year-old South African girl who is not the comedian’s natural or adopted daughter. So reports The New York Daily News.

In the couple’s divorce documents, Rock’s ex-wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, lists the South African child, Ntombi-futhi Samantha, as a dependent along with the Rocks’ two biological daughters, Lola, 13, and Zahra, 11. Compton-Rock claims that Samantha, whom she is in the process of adopting, has been raised “as a member of the family and has been solely supported by [Chris and Malaak].” Meanwhile, authorities are investigating whether Samantha is in the country legally.
