Penn. Man Gets Life Sentence for Killing Adult Stepdaughter, Sexually Abusing Corpse

A Pennsylvania judge sentenced a man to life in prison without the possibility of parole after he admitted to killing his stepdaughter and committing necrophilia with her corpse. So reports The Morning Call.

The convict, Gregory Graf, 54, confessed only after the lies he’d told investigators didn’t hold up. He shot his 33-year-old stepdaughter, Jessica Padgett, in the back of the head and then recorded himself having sex with her over a span of two hours.

Jurors watched seven minutes of the disturbing, graphic video before convicting Graf of first-degree murder. The jury rejected the defense attorney’s argument that Graf’s actions weren’t premeditated and that Graf therefore should only be convicted of third-degree murder, a crime that carries a sentence of 20 to 40 years.
