The convict, Kit Darrant, now 19, had a history of conflict with his mother. The night of the murder, he argued with her before stabbing her more then 100 times. He then lived with her decaying body for more than a week.

Miami Teen Pleads Guilty to Murdering Mom
A Florida teen who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for stabbing his mother to death with a butcher's knife when he was just 16 must spend 28 years behind bars. After that he will be on probation for 20 years. So reports the Miami Herald.
