Comedian James McNair died in the accident and six people other than Morgan were injured. Morgan suffered a broken leg, nose, and ribs as well as a traumatic head injury. The Wal-Mart truck driver, Kevin Roper, hadn’t slept for 24 hours prior to the accident. He is out on bail after pleading not guilty to death by auto assault.

Saturday Night Live veteran Tracy Morgan is pleased with the undisclosed settlement amount he received from Wal-Mart almost a year after one of the company’s trucks seriously injured him by hitting his limousine on the New Jersey Turnpike. So reports Newsweek.
