AT&T Unit Prez Fired Over Claims in Discrimination Suit

AT&T has fired one of the executives named in an age, race, and gender discrimination suit filed by a 50-year-old African American woman who worked at the company for 30 years. So reports The New York Daily News.

Knoyme King’s lawsuit alleges that executives, including Aaron Slator, who was dismissed from his position as AT&T's president of content and advertising sales, passed King over for promotions and paid her unfairly because of her race and age. The suit claims that Slator “harbors obvious and deep-seated racial animus toward African Americans," a prejudice that the suit claims is evidenced by racist images that Slator kept on his work cell phone.
