Utah H.S. Teacher Faces Lawsuits for Alleged Affairs With Underage Students

Two Utah high school students have filed separate lawsuits against their former English teacher for allegedly engaging in illegal sexual activity with them. So reports the The Salt Lake Tribune.

The fired teacher, 35-year-old Brianne Altice, faces 14 felony charges including first-degree felony rape and first-degree felony sodomy for her alleged relationships with three students in total. Claiming that school authorities knew about—but nevertheless failed to stop—Altice’s inappropriate interactions with her pupils, the students’ lawsuits also name their school district as a defendant.
