Does Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law Threaten the Gay Community’s Rights?

Indiana’s new “religious freedom” law, which could serve as a defense against suits alleging discrimination against members of the gay community, is “broader and more dangerous” than similar laws enacted by other states, some of the law’s critics say. So reports CNN.

One legal analyst says that the Indiana law would likely be an adequate defense for a business accused of refusing to provide services for a gay wedding, but that it wouldn’t likely protect a business accused of simply refusing to serve a gay person a meal.
