The women’s families filed the lawsuit that resulted in the award in a court in Grasse, France, in 2010, a few years after a paternity test revealed that one of the girls wasn’t the biological relation of the family with whom she resided. The clinic and an insurance company will also pay 300,000 euros ($339,500) to each of three parents involved in the case and 60,000 ($67,900) euros to each of three siblings.
