Jury Awards $4M to Chaplain Abused by 911 Responders

A jury in Brooklyn, N.Y., awarded $4 million to a Corrections Department chaplain whose leg was deliberately broken by cops responding to the chaplain’s girlfriend’s emergency domestic violence call. So reports The New York Daily News.

When she made the 911 call, the chaplain’s girlfriend, who is the mother of his three children, claimed the chaplain hit her with the butt end of a machete. He insists that never happened, and that the police officers who abused him when they responded to the call stopped as soon as they learned of his position.
