Couple Fined for Refusing to Hold Same Sex Wedding on Their Farm

An administrative law judge ordered a devout Christian couple to pay a total of $13,000 in fines for refusing to hold a same sex wedding on the farm that they rent out for ceremonies and receptions. So reports The New York Post.

The judge ordered the fines based on her finding that the upstate New York property qualifies as a “public accommodation,” and that by refusing the two women interested in getting married there, the owners of the farm violated state discrimination laws.
