PA Boy Charged as Adult in 90-Year-Old’s Murder

A 10-year-old boy was charged as an adult after he confessed to having strangled and killed a 90-year-old woman who resided with his grandfather. So reports McCall.com.

The victim’s injuries were consistent with the 10-year-old’s account of the story. He was charged as an adult because homicide is excluded from the offenses that juveniles can be charged with under Pennsylvania laws. There will be an opportunity for him to petition the court for a hearing to move his case to juvenile court.
