Judge Dresses Down Sock-Less Lawyer

 

An Indiana judge issued a formal order requiring an otherwise appropriately dressed male lawyer to wear socks with his dress shoes. So reports Above the Law.

 

The judge issued the order after the sock-less attorney told him that he would continue to eschew socks unless the judge could show him “orders or other legal authority” requiring him to wear them.
