D.C. Attorney Appointed Next ‘IP Czar’

Daniel H. Marti, a Washington lawyer who has represented brands including Tory Burch and Adidas in trademark disputes, will serve as the country’s next Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator. So reports The Washington Post.

In the position, which has been vacant since August 2013, Marti will be charged with harmonizing the copyright-, trademark-, and patent-enforcement activities of several federal agencies.
