SCOTUS Decision Likely to Shut Aereo TV-Streaming Service

The U.S. Supreme Court has held that Aereo, a service that allows consumers to stream broadcast TV to their computers for eight dollars a month, violates copyright law. So reports the New York Post.

Aereo will likely close up shop as a result of the ruling, which was based on the Court’s finding that Aereo’s use of thousands of dime-sized antennas is too similar to cable companies.
